'Winsdtruck' starring Jun Ji-hyun: release in 310 screens of Japan

'Yeochinso - Winsdtruck' starring Jeon Ji-hyen is released from Dec. 11 in 310 screens of Japan, the largest numbers among Korean movies released in Japan to date.

This took the lead with a shade of difference compared with 300 screens of 'Taegukgi: Brotherhood of War'.

Movie 'Winsdtruck' has gathered interest with the movie's simultaneous openings in Korea, China and Hong Kong for the first time ever in Korean film history.

Also, it is an emotional Blockbuster with 80% location shooting including underwater and helicopter shots.

The movie is boosting expectation about a box-office record with screen numbers overwhelming Korean movies' screen numbers released in Japan so far such as 'Taegukgi: Brotherhood of War' (300 screen), 'Silmido' (250 screen), 'Scandal' (about 200 screen), and 'Oldboy" (about 150 screens).

A romantic action/comedy
Prior to this, 'Yeochinso' has gained all good box-office record in Hong Kong, China, Singapore, Taiwan and Thailand.

Jun Ji-hyun co-stars with Jang Hyuk and reteams with My Sassy Girl director Kwak Jae-yong in Windstruck. It's a romantic action/comedy about a brave and tough policewoman (Jeon) and an innocent teacher (Jang) who tries to protect her.
