The songstress wrote on her webpage today saying, "'ATHENA'...I'm going to be leaving now...I'm going to concentrate on preparing for the movie^^Oh yeah!!".

In early August, SM Entertainment announced that BoA was cast as the female lead in a Hollywood dance flick "Make Your Move", written and helmed by director Duane Adler whose works include "Step Up (2006)" and "Save the Last Dance".

She recently made a special guest appearance in "ATHENA" as a top female singer who was faced with a hostage situation by terrorists before her concert while being protected by her bodyguard Jeong-woo (played by Jung Woo-sung).

She made her debut into the U.S music scene in 2008 and held her annual Christmas show in Japan titled "BoA - The Live XMAS" on December 20 and 21 at the Tokyo International Forum.
