Figures from TNmS (Total National Multimedia Statistics) on Friday indicated that "Bread, Love and Dreams", sitting atop TV ratings chart for the seventh consecutive week, scored ratings of 38.5 percent on July 21 and 38.4 percent the following day.

AGB Nielsen Media Research reported slightly lower ratings of 37.3 percent for Wednesday evening and 37.9 for last night's episode.

This week's ratings are the highest that "Bread, Love and Dreams" has scored since it first went on air on the small screen on June 9.

The series, about a young breadmaker named Kim Tak-koo, is building up drama with Tak-koo (played by Yoon Si-yoon) having a chance meeting his father (played by Jun Kwang-ryul) for the first time in fourteen years. The father, however, was unable to recognize his long-lost son.

Meanwhile, MBC's war drama "Road No.1" and SBS' "Bad Man" continued to trail far behind "Bread, Love and Dreams", scoring less than 10 percent on both charts.
