Choi Si-won joins "King of the Drama"

Super Junior member, Si-won is set to join Kim Myung-min in "King of the Drama".

Kim Myeong-min's management, MM Entertainment has confirmed that Siwon is one of the 3 lead actors of the upcoming TV series. Siwon will be playing the role of Kang Min, a top hallyu actor described as egoistic, rude and hot-tempered. In addition, he has poor educational background and cannot even write his own Chinese name!

"King of the Drama" tells about the life and career of Anthony Kim (Kim Myeong-min), a drama production company CEO who is known to produce blockbuster dramas. Meanwhile, Jung Ryeo-won is is cast as the lead actress who will take on the role of rookie writer, Lee Go Eun. The TV series will also give a glimpse of the corruption and tyranny that takes place at a drama production company and broadcasting station.

"King of the Drama" is directed by Hong Seong-chang ("You're Beautiful" (SBS, 2009), "Smile, Mom" (SBS, 2010)) and written by Jang Hang-jun (Sign (SBS, 2011). Production is scheduled to start in September for an early November premiere in SBS.
