The investment and distribution company of 'Fingersmith', CJ Entertainment said, "'Fingersmith' has begun filming in Nagoya, Japan on June 15th".

'Fingersmith' is a story surrounding a young noble heirless, (Kim Min-hee), a fraudulent count, (Ha Jung-woo), who eyes on her enormous inheritance and a little girl who is hired by the count as a maid for the heirless. The historical background is set in 1930s in Korea and Japan. It is a cinematic adaptaion of Sarah Waters' "Fingersmith".

This 11 billion won blockbuster movie has been drawing much attention with its large budget as well as the star-studded cast including Kim Min-hee, Ha Jung-woo, Cho Jin-woong, Moon So-ri, Kim Hae-sook, Kim Tae-ri and more.

'Fingersmith' is scheduled to be released sometime within the first half of next year.
