[HanCinema's News] Kim Ji-won Discusses her Acting Roles in New Video

On May 3rd, Highzium Studio released a YouTube video interviewing Kim Ji-won of "Queen of Tears" that discusses the rest of her career in a bit more detail. Kim Ji-won sits in a room with a board that highlights her seven most significant, best known roles. Kim Ji-won discusses what made these roles distinctive for her, like the lead of "Queen of Tears" having the most money or her character in "Fight For My Way" having to cry every episode.

Kim Ji-won also talks about a fan poll of which of her roles they liked the most. Surprisingly, "Queen of Tears" is not at the top of the list. Kim Ji-won's role as the second lead in "Descendants of the Sun" was her most popular, with "Fight For My Way" being the second most, and "Queen of Tears" was in third place. Kim Ji-won herself ranked her character from "Queen of Tears" as being the most important to her own life, in part thanks to what she expects to be a long afterglow.

Kim Ji-won ranked her "Descendants of the Sun" appearance as her second favorite because of the distinctive nature of the character she played. She gave the same explanation for why her role in "My Liberation Notes" was her third favorite role. The other three roles Kim Ji-won discusses were in "The Heirs" in 2013 and "Arthdal Chronicles" in 2019 and "Lovestruck in the City" in 2020. "Queen of Tears" ended on April 28th with ratings of 24.9%.
