Ex-Members of TVXQ Demanding Payment From SM Entertainment

Three of the original members of popular boy group TVXQ are not in the legal clear yet. Reports on June 28th announced that Kim Jae-joong Jaejoon, Park Yoo-chun , and Junsu have filed a lawsuit demanding 3 billion won from entertainment giant, SM Entertainment to compensate for the earnings that they have made through their group activities. This is following a previous lawsuit which the three "Davids" went up against a Goliath of a company, SM Entertainment, over their allegedly unfair contract.
According to their claim, since the trio?? contract with their ex-management company stands void, the earnings that came in during the served term are rightfully theirs. Calculations stated that the entire TVXQ group earned 60 billion won so the three lawsuit-filers believed they deserve about 10 billion won-- with SM's expenses deducted. Rather than demanding the full 10 billion won per head though, they're asking for a tentative 1 billion won per filer for a total of 3 billion won. This amount is susceptible to change.
The three also claimed that SM Entertainment claiming a 13-year-long contract is necessary for the group to be active overseas is unacceptable. They pointed out that it's actually the members' responsibility to pay for any damages in case of the contract being broken and that the amount is ridiculously high.
