"World's first cinema with projector-less LED screen opens in Korea"

South Korea continues to lead the way in movie magic as Samsung launches its new projector-less screen, the "Super S". Commenting on the new technology, director Yang Woo-seok ("The Attorney") said, "It's an innovative change in 120 years of cinema history to see images on a cinema screen that applies its light source directly". The first two films to take advantage of the innovation were "Cars 3" and "Spider-Man: Homecoming" at the Lotte World Tower in Seoul.
