"Naver Uses Artificial Intelligence to Recommend Travel Ideas"

Naver, South Korea's premier internet provider, will be using a new artificial intelligence platform called ConA (Context Recognition AI) that uses "deep learning technology" to recommend travel destinations to its customers. "ConA can analyse travel data written in other languages as well, including English and Chinese", a Naver official is quoted as saying, "and it has potential to be developed into a global service platform". Watch this space, or it might just watch you instead!

"Record numbers of visitors go to royal palaces"

Ancient royal palaces received a record number of visitors last year, according to Cultural Heritage Administration (CHA). 10.6 million visitors came over to explore Korea's many cultural sites, up 17.8% from 2015.
