Bong Joon-ho's epic extravaganza attracted over 9.3 million to its platform when it departed last August. It was a stunning reception for Bong's first English-language film that saw the French-inspired adaptation become one of the highest grossing Korean films of all time. "Snowpiercer" is a gorgeous and twisted imagining of a not-so-distant dystopia, a world where the survival of the human race rides on frozen tracks and the frigid enforcement of status and station.
