[HanCinema's Image Gallery] "Leafie, A Hen Into The Wild"

A selection of shots from Korea's highest grossing animation, Oh Seong-yoon's "Leafie, A Hen Into The Wild".

The backgrounds contain some beautiful artwork and have that texture of a classic children's storybook.

All Leafie (Moon So-ri) does is lay eggs and dream.

One too many eggs laid I think.

The farmer makes his first appearance as a shadowy gravedigger.

The hungry weasel 'One-eye' (Kim Sang-hyeon)

Our dashing duck (Choi Min-sik) to the rescue.

Wanderer, like the rest of the world Leafie, is just not interested right now.

Man's best friend really does try to be mean and faithful, but one scratch behind the ear and he's yours.

Roosters aren't very nice in general though.

These four are perhaps beyond saving.

Panic and hysteria erupts at the thought of Leafie coming to stay with them.

Alone and unwanted. But before she makes a rash decision, she sleeps on it.

Silly chicken.

Leafie leaves the farm and is excited to greet the world she never knew.

Leafie quickly realises herself that she might not fit in this alien new world.

The outside world is not as keen on Leafie as she is on it. This little frog was her first encounter, and she blew it.

Mr. Otter (Park Chul-min) was actually not in the original tale, but adds a welcomed comedic dimension that absorbs a lot of the bitterness Leafie gets subjected to.

In her new home and world, but still alone.

She's laid hundreds of eggs herself, but has never actually had to sit on one before.

Wallow in his dreamy eyes.

Leafie finds motherhood a little challenging.

The final stand.

Greenie's (Yoo Seung-ho) first look at his new mom.

Together they endure, but the time will come when he will have to leave the nest.

A beautiful shot of mother and son during better days.

Leafie can't swim, but she does everything in her power to support Greenie.

Although Leafie is generally shunned by the animal community, Greenie does managed to find a few mentors to take the place of his deceased father.

Drinking your own urine and poop by choice is bad for your mental health.

Leafie isn't able to fully shield Greenie from the world, but she does what she has to when the time comes.

Greenie is just a chomp away from meeting his father.

One of the 3D moments in the film as Greenie flies towards his destiny.

Our false-antagonist gets exposed as a mother.

The realisation that the world turns regardless.

Leafie raises a wing to her son as he heads south with his kind.

She said yes.

Greenie leads the pack in perfect flying formation towards the future.
