[HanCinema's News] CJ CheilJedang Confirms Product Placement in "Queen of Tears"

On April 15th, the international food corporation CJ CheilJedang confirmed that it had paid for its products to appear in "Queen of Tears" on South Korean television. The announcement was made alongside a confirmed promotion for the company's Boiled Rice Pot product, which will will be sold at as much as a 54% discount through April 25th. Of the nine products from CJ CheilJedang which "Queen of Tears" has featured, this discount will apply to four of them.

The food in question was featured particularly prominently in the twelfth episode which aired on April 14th, with a protagonist enjoying it in a hearty meal. The promotion also features bonus tickets for purchases over ten dollars, which may result in prizes of five hundred dollar shopping center certificates or fifty dollar online certificates. The winners of the bonus tickets will be announced on April 30th. "Queen of Tears" had television ratings of 20.732% in its most recent episode.
