[HanCinema's News] Kim Young-kwang and Lee Sung-kyung Deny Rumors of Romantic Relationship

In an interview conducted on April 10th Kim Young-kwang and Lee Sung-kyung both denied rumors of their being romantically attached. The rumors had been started by a statement from director Lee Gwang-yeong of "Call It Love" who in decribing their acting, said that the way the two looked into each other's eyes made him wonder if they weren't romantically attached in real life. "Call It Love" is their first project together.

That was not the only basis for suspicion, however. Kim Young-kwang and Lee Sung-kyung have long been known to be close friends. Three years separate the two, and they were both acive in modeling circles before moving on to acting. At one point they had signed on to play opposite each other in the same film project though these plans ultimately fell through. In explaining their strong chemistry they mentioned knowing each other since they were kids.

"Call It Love" is currently airing on Disney+ worldwide. Kim Young-kwang has been confirmed for "Mission Two: Possible" where he will reprise his leading role from the action film "Mission: Possible" in 2021 as a spy. Lee Sung-kyung has likewise been confirmed to soon be reprising her role from "Dr. Romantic 2" in "Dr. Romantic 3" as a cardiothoracic surgeon.
