[HanCinema's News] "Love Reset" Leads South Korean Box Office for Tenth Straight Day

According to figures recently released by the Korean Film Council, "Love Reset" was once again the most popular film at the South Korean box office on October 13th with 58,531 admissions. The romantic comedy now has a grand total of 954,221 admissions, and is certain to break the million viewer mark over the weekend. "Love Reset" may also lead the following weekend as well- it has no serious competition until the latest Hayao Miyazaki film The Boy and the Heron releases on October 25th.

"Love Reset" stars Kang Ha-neul and Jung So-min as a divorcing couple who are struck with amnesia during the thirty-day grace period of their divorce and fall in love again. Though not an especially strong performer, "Love Reset" has benefited from positive response by theater-goers in its target audience. "Hopeless" has been much more poorly reviewed by comparison, and the new release has had only 19,611 admissions for a total of 98,777 admissions overall in a dismal second place.
