From MBC 'Section TV', one reporter asked Jang Dong-gun, “Wasn't it hard during the shooting since the whole script was written in English?”. Jang Dong-gun showed his wit by answering, “My character was a very quiet one so I didn't have much to say during the film.”

He also added, “The hard part was finding a right accent for a warrior from Asia. We kept our conversation short and simple just to communicate.”

About this comment, director Barrie Osborne, who produced 'The Warrior's Way', said, “Jang Dong-gun was good at stage conversations. In my opinion, he was not having any trouble communicating with our crew members.”
