In "Fantastic", he took on the role of Ryu Hae-seong, a terrible actor who has a girlfriend named Lee So-hye (Kim Hyun-joo) with a terminal illness. His teamwork with Kim Hyun-joo earned him lots of favorable comments from the public.

Joo Sang-wook said, "The cooperation of the cast was the same as we were on set when cameras weren't roling".

"Usually people tend to think about their own characters only and not really care about the others but Kim Hyun-joo did both. She is so talented that she can balance two at the same time".

"Those who have worked with Kim Hyun-joo should know that she's real easy to work with".

About Kim Tae-hoon, he said, "I've never seen anyone like him before. However, he makes a mistake as soon as someone tells him he's doing a good job".

"Kim Tae-hoon doesn't look at the script when we rehearse. However, he doesn't get a single word wrong".

"It's luck to be able to work with actors with talent and great minds".
