A press release from the group's publicist Prain Inc. announced Monday that the boys sang in front of 6,000 fans at the Galen Center located in U.S.C in Los Angeles on November 19 (U.S time).

"We were able to gain the confidence in expanding our singing career into the United States from the support and rooting that we received from our fans during our global showcase", the members of JYJ were quoted as saying.

In mid-October, the boys kicked off a series of showcases to promote their worldwide album "The Beginning" with performances in Korea, Taiwan, Shanghai, New York and Las Vegas.

"The Beginning" was released on Apple's iTunes on November 18 and will go on sale in North America next month.

Jaejoong (Kim Jae-joong), Yuchuhn and Junsu made their debut in 2004 as part of the popular boy band TVXQ, but despite their phenomenal success in Asia, they ceased their activities as a group after being involved in a legal dispute with the Korean agency SM Entertainment.

They are preparing for their concert titled "JYJ Worldwide Concert in Seoul" to be held at the Main Olympic Stadium in Jamsil on November 27 and 28.
