KCON LA: Special guest performers Davichi and Turbo announced #KCON16LA @KCONUSA

KCON 2016 Presented by Toyota revealed today two special guest artists, pop-ballad duo Davichi and K-dance group Turbo, who will be performing at KCON 2016 Los Angeles!

Celebrating its fifth anniversary, KCON USA is the world's largest Korean culture convention and music festival. KCON NY returned to the Prudential Center on June 24-25, seeing over 42,000 passionate fans in attendance for the two-day event. KCON LA kicks off on July 29-31, taking over the L.A. Live area including the Staples Center and Los Angeles Convention Center for three days of convention and two nights of concerts.

- Davichi

Davichi is a female pop-ballad duo consisting of members Lee Hae-ri and Kang Min-kyung. Their distinctive timbre and vocal skills have made them increasingly popular in Korea. Davichi debuted in 2008, winning "Best New Female Group" at the Mnet Asian Music Awards and "Best Newcomer Artist" at the Golden Disk Awards that year. Currently, Davichi has 15 songs that have reached within the top 10 of the Gaon Chart, with six of those reaching number one. Davichi has also found success in the Korean drama "Descendants of the Sun".

- Turbo

Turbo is a South Korean group comprised of members Kim Jung-nam, Kim Jong-kook and Mikey (Jo Myung-ik). Turbo debuted in 1995 with the album "280 km/h Speed", and quickly rose to fame as major players in the Korean dance music scene. Turbo released their most recent studio album, "Again", after a 15 year hiatus since the album "E-Mail My Heart" in 2000.

The official lineup for KCON LA on Saturday, July 30 consists of Block B, CNBlue, DEAN, GFRIEND, I.O.I, and SHINee. On Sunday, July 31, the lineup includes performances by ASTRO, BTS, Monsta X, TTS, and Twice. Please note, this is not the order each act will be performing on their respective night.
