Moon Jeong-hee explained, "Kim Myung-min says that he doesn't have a sense of humour, but he is a really funny guy". According to the actress, Kim Dong-wan, who plays the role of Kim Myung-min's brother, shares the same opinion. She added that she would like to see Kim Myung-min participate in a TV entertainment show someday.

When the actress was asked to compare Kim Myung-min with Cha In-pyo, who recently showed his humourous side at KBS2 variety show "Happy Together", Moon Jeong-hee answered, "I think Kim Myung-min's sense of humour is greater than Cha In-pyo's". She said, "Kim Myung-min is usually serious like Cha In-pyo. But sometimes, he's very funny so we feel at ease around him".

Furthermore, the actress expressed her admiration to Kim Myung-min's acting talent and work attitude saying, "He is a real "national actor". He is very thorough and meticulous". She added, "He feels bad when others suffer more than he does. He is very considerate towards his colleagues". She also remarked that Kim Myung-min disliked being called "Myeong-min Bonjwa" (or "acting guru").

"Yeongasi" (directed by Park Jeong-woo) revolves around the outbreak of virus-infected parasitic worms and the desperate struggle of a father (Kim Myung-min) to save his infected family. The blockbuster movie is currently in post-production and is set to be released in Korea in June 2012.
