After being discharged from the army last year in September, he played the role of Nam Jeong-woo, a professor of antiquities, who was loved by Kim Tae-hee who became a princess later.

When he was asked how he felt about being love by Kim Tae-hee by Star Today, he said, "It felt really good. My opposing partner Kim Tae-hee looked at me with eyes filled with hearts. Of course that disappeared little by little as she fell in love with Song Seung-heon throughout the drama".

"It's not a pretty actress playing pretty roles, the actress looks pretty because of the role, and just like that the role of Nam Jeong-woo made me look cool. If Kim Tae-hee hadn't looked at me like that I wouldn't have looked as cool. I think I owe her. I thank her".

Nam Jeong-woo is a decent looking, sentimental guy who is knowledgeable and passionate about his career. He was called the Korean Hugh Grant for his character which he played out 120%. He said he felt good to hear that.

"It was great the drama did so well from the beginning. Everyone knew our character names by the second episode". Having successfully ended his come back project, he is now looking at his next work.

Being thirty two at a man's age, he's been to the army and now all that's left is to spread out his dreams as an actor. When he was asked about his plans for the future, he spilled out, "To be honest, I think I've played young roles to be called an actor".

"I remember Kim Yun-seok telling me 'it's important to act fit to the situation'. I want to act like that. I want to be able to convey the exact feeling of the script".
