MBC's new drama "The Veil", which is scheduled to air in the second half of this year, released a meaningful still picture of Namkoong Min.

"The Veil" is the winner of the 2018 MBC Drama Screenplay Contest by Park Seok-ho, and it's a story that takes place as the NIS' top field agent, who disappeared a year ago, returns to the organization to find the internal traitor who dropped him into the abyss.

Namgoong-min plays Han Ji-hyeok, a unique NIS field agent in the drama. It is not an exaggeration to say that he is an animal, for he has sharp intuition like a razor and aggressive breakthrough like a hammer, as well as the quickness that pops out at every moment of an unexpected crisis.

Namkoong Min in the still cut, which was unveiled on Tuesday, brings out strong suction power only with his eyes. His appearance, which emits different atmospheres in what looks like the same space, explain the saying, 'a thousand faces'.

On the other hand, Namkoong Min is looking at something with unusual eyes and expressions hiding behind the wall. Also, the sight of his drooping shoulders, which look somewhat weak, shows dejection, making us wonder what happened.

The production team of "The Veil" said, "The overwhelming performance of Namkoong Min's facial expression is eye-catching. You can look forward to what Namkoong Min will look like in "The Veil" as Han Ji-hyeok.

Expectations of prospective viewers are rising vertically for the new acting transformation that Namkoong Min, a 'genre master' who has shown perfect digestion for each character, will present in "The Veil".

Meanwhile, "The Veil" is expected to open a new horizon for Korean spy action dramas this year, as written by Park Seok-ho, who will continue the myth of 'undefeated' MBC dramas and director Kim Sung-yong, who directed "The Flower in Prison" and "My Healing Love".

"The Veil" is scheduled to air later this year.
