Park Hae-jin to star in 'Cheese in the Trap'

Park Hae-jin's casting has been confirmed for 'Cheese in the Trap'.

Eight Works, the production company of 'Cheese in the Trap' has confirmed Park Hae-jin's cast. 'Cheese in the Trap' is a drama adaptation of the popular webtoon with the same title.

Park Hae-jin took on the leading role as Yoo-jeong. Dramas or movies based webtoon or cartoon have enjoyed much popularity. Kim Soo-hyun's 'Secretly and Greatly', Lee Min-ho's 'Boys over Flowers' and Park Yoo-chun's 'The Girl Who Sees Smells' are the examples. Whether or not Park Hae-jin will be able to continue the trend with 'Cheese in the Trap' is garnering attention.

'Cheese in the Trap' depicts conflicts, events, love among many characters including Hong-seol, a hardworking college student, her boyfriend at the same campus and other various characters.

Since the news broke out that webtoon 'Cheese in the Trap' would be dramatized, it has been drawing heated attention. Even before the production was confirmed, fans started posting parodies and their own fantasy cast.

Park Hae-jin has been the number one on the hopeful cast list for the leading role, Yoo-jeong. Yoo-jeong is literally a perfect guy, who is equipped with handsome appearance, renowned family, academic ability, fashion etc. However the character is hiding a scary aspect behind his kind and gentle face.
