Pororo takes over dramas as cameo

Pororo is pleasing adults as well as children now.

On the 5th episode of SBS drama "City Hunter" on the 8th, Pororo made an appearance. Pororo is a penguin character that is also known as 'President Pororo' among children.
Kim Na-na's (Park Min-young) neighboring children moved this day. They gave her a Pororo gift as they said thank you. Lee Yoon-seong (Lee Min-ho) also stuck a Pororo band-aid on her face when she got hurt.
Kim Yeong-joo (Lee Joon-hyuk) then changed it to a 'band-aid that doesn't scar'. Lee Yoon-seong feels jealousy and tells Kim Na-na, "You look better with Pororo".
Pororo made an appearance previously in the MBC drama "The Greatest Love" as well. Dok Go-jin (Cha Seung-won) presented Goo Ae-jeong (Kong Hyo-jin) with a Pororo gift. It was a lie detector in the shape of a Pororo mike. This Pororo mike yelled "You musn't lie" everytime Goo Ae-jeong denied her feelings for Dok Go-jin. This toy played a big role in connecting the two together.
Pororo which is loved by children is also loved adults and it appearing in dramas a lot. This kind of popularity might be a first after Teletubbies.
