The boy who said he didn't have a dream is now about to achieve his dream with himself and a few of his juniors 20 years later today. 43-year-old Jung Woo-sung is making his first step as a movie maker this time. He looks like he has a lot on his hands.

"Remember You - Movie" producer and leading actor Jung Woo-sung was interviewed in Seoul recently. He deep eyes and smile showed tension. He didn't answer any question with pretence. He was sincere about his answers. We asked him about his opinion on "Remember You - Movie".

"I realized the movie "Remember You - Movie" could make people think that I did something foolish. So my goal was to make an acceptable movie for a rookie producer. Thankfully, the premiere brought back good results".

"Remember You - Movie" is about a man named Seok-won (Jung Woo-sung) who lost his memory of the last 10 years in an accident and a woman named Jin-yeong (Kim Ha-neul) who cries for him. The mystery scenario starts with a 'self missing' incident. Seok-won reports himself missing at the police station. This scene appears again in the middle of the movie. Seok-won calls himself Jin-yeong then.

"Calling himself Jin-yeong while reporting himself missing means he equates himself with the person he loves. That's true love as thinking about the person you love as an equal of yourself means you can understand the other better".

"Remember You - Movie" has a twist so further questions seemed unnecessary. We looked at the 'movie maker' Jung Woo-sung and not the actor.

"The polarization in the movie industry is intense. It's rare for a movie to have 2~3 million people watching it. New movie makers need an environment where they can show everyone what they've got with low budgets so that they can become bigger movie makers. So I decided to give my juniors a chance. They don't dare dream about working with senior actors like Song Kang-ho or Jung Woo-sung and that is a pity".

With the burden of being labelled an actor and a movie maker on his shoulders, Jung Woo-sung doesn't stop there. He is forwarding a plan to give his juniors more chances and lead them down the right path. In addition to last year's "The Killer and the Old Man" and "Three Colors" he is going to add weight to his name as a movie producer and his production company is already preparing for a new movie.

"I want to make more opportunities for my juniors. I think communication with them will make advancements in the movie industry. The seniors need to approach them first. I want everyone on site to be happy. I have always wanted to be a producer and out of three scripts I completed one. It's a melodrama but it's going to cost a lot".

Jung Woo-sung is on his way to becoming a true movie maker. There have been times when he wasn't sure about himself and was afraid but that didn't stop him from proceeding with his dream. He was a boy in that sense.

"A dream is giving my junior movie makers a chance and completing it with them. Otherwise, that dream is going to rot in reality. I want to keep on trying new things".
