The pair donated the money to the Korea Juvenile Protection Association, which will spend the money on building the training center for former inmates of juvenile detention facilities, according to the Justice Ministry on Wednesday.
They were apparently motivated by news reports.
The center is to open next summer and train the girls to become beauticians or baristas.
