Can pre-production dramas be a way for improvement in the production environment?

SBS "TV News At Night" analyzed the Korean drama environment through the Han Ye-seul incident.

There have been many voices criticizing the actions of actress Han Ye-seul who refused to cooperate with the drama causing it too miss a day of broadcasting and some say the poor condition of drama producing needs to be looked back upon.

As a solution some are suggesting "Pre-production".

However, some of the drama's that were tried in that method won favors in completion but were ignored by the viewers.

Write Kim Eun-sook from "Secret Garden" says, "Trends change from time to time. Would we be able to keep up with it with pre-production? I do think we need it but not in my case".

She means although the completion is high, if a drama does not reflect on the current trends, viewers response and feedback, viewers won't agree with it. A drama ignored by the viewers can't be an alternative so pre-production can't be a clear solution.
