Song Il-kook Weds Traditional Style

TV star Song Il-kook's detailed wedding plan has been released. His wedding will take place at a five-star hotel in Seoul in the evening of March 15th. Instead of the western-style wedding ceremony preferred by today's young people, Song and his fiancée opted to go traditional.

The Vista Hall, where the wedding will take place, will be decorated with winter pine and bamboo trees, the symbols of eternal love and life. Meals will include traditional Korean wine and bibimbop, a dish representing merger and harmony. Traditional Korean orchestra and Korean folk singers will perform for the happy couple and the president of ChungAng University, where Song currently studies, will preside over the wedding. However, Song's wedding will be closed to the media.

Meanwhile, the wedding was planned by I-wedding Network, where singer Kim Tae-wook, husband of actress Chae Shi-ra, is president. Having planned a number of celebrity weddings, Kim said he was very happy to add the Song couple to the list of clients and found Song's wish to hold a traditional wedding very challenging, yet quite meaningful.
