It turns out Robin (Hyun Bin) and Jang Ha-na (Han Ji-min) met 15 years ago.

Jang Ha-na realized Robin was the boy who rescued her from the Angel's Bridge 15 years ago and Robin recognized her, too. Jang Ha-na recalled the day's events.

15 years ago, Jang Ha-na used to practice acrobatics on the Angel's Bridge, dreaming of being a circus leader. Koo Seo-jin used to contemplate committing suicide on the same bridge but would return home in the end. Jang Ha-na was watching him one day when he actually tried to jump from the bridge. She pushed him aside and jumped in herself.

Jang Ha-na hung onto the railings but Koo Seo-jin couldn't save her and just watched. She then fell from the bridge and Koo Seo-jin jumped into the water to save her. This was when Koo Seo-jin became Robin.

Jang Ha-na thought of Robin as Koo Seo-jin's twin brother.
