JTBC's new drama "The Atypical Family" which is scheduled to air for the first time in 2024, unveiled a script reading scene full of joy from the beginning. Expectations are high for the meeting actors who will draw the stories of a family who are ordinary because they're special.

"The Atypical Family" is a fantasy romance in which a man with extraordinary abilities whom no one could save, finally saves a woman of fate.

Director Jo Hyeon-tak, who was recognized for his directing ability by presenting an unrivaled production in "SKY Castle", takes the megaphone, and writer Joo Hwa-mi, who showed storytelling that stimulates empathy through "Marriage, Not Dating", is in charge of writing.

Jang Ki-yong, who has 'time-slip' superpower but lost his ability due to depression, leads the play with stable acting from his first return to work after discharge. Jang Ki-yong flexibly depicts the helplessness of his happiness and ability, which have disappeared, to meeting a suspicious woman Do Da-hae (Chun Woo-hee), raising questions about the birth of a different hero.

Go Doo-shim, a national actress, is different this time, too. She transformed herself into Bok Man-heum, an influential figure in the Bok family with superpowers and an insomniacal 'clairvoyant dream' ability, showing off her masterful acting skills.

Oh Man-seok-I brings life as Eom Soon-goo, the only incompetent in the Bok family and the breadwinner. With his sweet personality and charm, Uhm Soon-goo himself shows off his acting skills as a veteran.

"The Atypical Family" the production team said, "Jang Ki-yong and Chun Woo-hee, as well as Go Doo-shim, Claudia Kim, Oh Man-seok-I and Park So-yi, drew everyone's admiration by showing incomparable chemistry. It will be a special work that contains all the excitement of romance, warm family love, and deep emotion along with the solid performance of the actors", raising expectations.
