Comment from Programming Director is as follows: This film is synchronizing a family drama set in a small barbershop and the history of politics and society beautifully. We cannot help but acknowledge the high-level of maturity of Korean movies. Two thumbs-up to Song Gang-ho.

On one hand, this film festival's Tokyo Grand Prix went to "Whisky" and "Kekexili: Mountain Patrol" has received the Special Jury Prize each. Besides, The Award for Best Performance by an Actor in Leading Role went to "Schizo" by Olhzas Nusuppaev.
