This Week's Cultural News The 63 [six-three] Art Hall is the venue for an open run of the b-boy musical Marionette.

Marionette always attracts a full house.

In a way, it is the result of the world's best b-boy team, Expression Crew, pouring its heart and soul on the stage.

[Interview : Son Hye-rim, Audience member] "It's different from other performances, so I can't help but compare".

Marionette is a story about puppets that come to life and the puppeteer that cares for them, and an evil magician that casts a spell over the puppets.
The concept of a puppet play in a b-boy performance makes Marionette stand out.

[Interview : Lee Woo-sung, Founder Expression Crew] "A marionette is a puppet that is controlled with strings and was widely seen in Europe long ago. This performance is a combination of that concept and b-boying".

The performance enchants the audience, just like how a magician does with his illusions!

This fantastic performance is the result of Expression Crew's hard work and dedication to Marionette.

[Interview : Choi Jin-ho, Team member Expression Crew] "Since we have practiced so much together, we can now understand each other just by gestures. We just naturally figure out what is needed by instinct".

The group expresses the puppets and their lives just through body movements.

[Interview : Lee Woo-sung, FounderExpression Crew] "When we practice, the theme we keep in mind is to move like a puppet, since a puppet moves like a person".

[Interview : Lee Ho-seong, Team member Expression Crew] "If audience members think that such a b-boy performance is possible and that b-boying can be incorporated into musicals and non-verbal performances, they will greatly enjoy it".
