TVXQ Bags 5 Gold Disc Awards in Japan

TVXQ collected five awards at Japan's Gold Disc Awards for the second consecutive year.

The veteran boy band won Best Asian Artist, Album of the Year in Asia for "Tree", and Best Asian Music Video for the video of their concert tour "TVXQ Live Tour 2014 Tree".
The duo also won two Best 3 Albums in Asia awards with "Tree" and "With".
"Tree" topped Oricon's monthly chart when it was released in March last year, while "With", released last December, made the duo the first foreign group to land four albums in a row on the Oricon weekly chart.
Meanwhile, Girls' Generation's first Japanese compilation album "The Best" won the Best 3 Albums award along with TVXQ's two albums.
The girl band also landed the award for Song of the Year by Download in Asia for their new song "Indestructible", which is included in the compilation album.
