Two Korean soaps to be aired in Japan

"Spring Waltz" and "The Snow Queen", two popular television dramas produced by Yoon Seok-ho, producer of "Winter Sonata", will be aired in Japan from April.

According to Yoon's production company, Yoon's Color, Japan's NHK will begin broadcasting "Spring Waltz" from April 7, while "The Snow Queen" will make its debut via satellite television the same month before being aired through a Japanese network in May.

The production company also plans to open a soap opera theme park at its office near Hongik University in western Seoul, where some key scenes of "Spring Waltz" were shot. The production company said the hall will later include memorabilia from Yoon's other hit soap operas including "Autumn in my Heart" and "Winter Sonata".
