Will "What Happens to My Family?" be a warm, family drama?

It was a stable start. On the episode of the KBS 2TV weekend drama, "What Happens to My Family?", Cha Soon-bong (Yoo Dong-geun) showed his bottomless love for his family and his three children Cha Kang-sim (Kim Hyun-joo), Cha Kang-jae (Yoon Park) and Cha Dal-bong (Park Hyung-sik) who forgot his birthday.

"What Happens to My Family?" claims to be the 'humane-family drama' which delivers the sorriness and gratefulness of family that we have been neglecting every day. This drama isn't showing any signs of 'sorry', yet, but it does seem to show a lot of 'thanks'.

Eldest daughter Kang-sim coldly tells her father who served her breakfast, "I don't want to eat when I'm stressed". Second son Kang-jae complains that the food is salty to his aunt. And his aunt cooks instead of his mother. These are common situations in our everyday lives.

However, "What Happens to My Family?" isn't a completely realistic drama. There are typical characters we would expect to see in a drama. Kang Seoul (Nam Ji-hyun) believes a promise of marriage from 12 years ago and finds the man who claims that she's his fiancée.

Concerns arise at the fact that there are more characters to be introduced in the future, but there's no guarantee that these characters are going to be realistic and warm. The fact that Cha Kang-sim's employer Moon Dae-oh (Kim Yong-gun) and her father knows the famous star Baek Seol-hee (Na Yeong-hee) could trigger some problems.
