"Actor Yoo Min-kyu will appear in tvN's new Saturday and Sunday drama "Arthdal Chronicles: The Sword of Aramun"", his agency BB Entertainment said on the 7th.

"Arthdal Chronicles: The Sword of Aramun" is the fateful story of Tagon (Jang Dong-gun), Eun-seom (Lee Joon-gi), Tanya (Shin Se-kyung), and Taealha (Kim Ok-vin), who write different legends in Arthdal's myth written by the owner of the sword. It is a follow-up to "Arthdal Chronicles", which aired in 2019, and the world eight years after Tagon took the throne is set in the background.

In the drama, Yoo Min-kyu plays Rottip from "Arthdal Chronicles". Rottip is a mysterious figure who knows a lot about Arthdal and the people, and unlike others of his kind, he has a wise attitude and an indifferent personality to the world.

After debuting as a model in 2006, Yoo Min-kyu began acting in the drama "Shut Up: Flower Boy Band". Since then, he has made his name known by appearing in various works such as dramas "Cheo Yong: The Paranormal Detective", "Live Up to Your Name", "Black Dog", and "Mr. Queen".

As a result, expectations are high on what Yoo Min-kyu, who returns after about two and a half years, will look like in "Arthdal Chronicles: The Sword of Aramun".

"Arthdal Chronicles: The Sword of Aramun" will premiere at 9:20 PM on the 9th.
