`Lady Vengeance' Sells Japanese Rights

The Japanese distributing rights to Park Chan-wook's upcoming movie "Sympathy for Lady Vengeance (Chinjolhan Kumjassi)" were sold for approximately $3 million.

All That Cinema, the movie's promoter, said Toshiba Entertainment bought the rights to distribute the film in Japan at the European Film Market, which is being held as part of the Berlin International Film Festival.

In the film, the final installment in Park's revenge-themed trilogy, Lee Young-ae plays a woman named Kumja who seeks vengeance after getting out of prison.
