'Breath' to screen in 10 countries

French film distributor company ARP bought the regional screening rights for Korean director Kim Ki-duk's latest film "Breath" at the Hong Kong Film Mart held last week, Cineclick Asia said yesterday.

ARP handles Asian movies for the French market and has imported several high-profile Chinese films into Europe. With the latest sales contract, "Breath" will be screened in 10 countries including Spain, Italy, Mexico and Greece.

Kim, who won the director awards from the top-rated Venice and Berlin film festivals in 2004, wrapped up on location production for "Breath" in just 10 days of shooting.
