'Dailyzoom' to hold 'The Seoul Animation Film Festival'

To commemorate the 1st Anniversary of the first publication, a gratuitous daily newspaper 'Dailyzoom' holds 'The Seoul Animation Film Festival' in concert with the Seoul Industry Promotion Foundation over three days on June 20-22.

This Seoul Animation Film Festival, which will be held at the lobby of the Seoul Ani Cinema, screens 'Empress Chung' by Nelson Shin on June 20, 'Mcdull' by Toe Yuen on June 21, and 'Olympus Guardian' on June 22 respectively.

In the case of 'Empress Chung' by Nelson Shin, the animation is being regarded as a sumptuous animated adaptation of a Korean folktale and narrative musical 'Shim Chung Jeon'.

Empress Chung is the subtle and beautifully crafted fairy story of a hidden Empress, whose struggle through life is helped along by her entourage of animal friends.

She attempts to sacrifice herself to save her father's eyesight, yet re-emerges from her submarine palace to find her wishes fulfilled. This animation deserves a glorious new animation from Korea.
