"Goodbye Mr. Black" is based on a comic by Hwang Mi-na, about a man trying to avenge his friend who has betrayed him along with a love story between Lee Jin-uk and Moon Chae-won.

On the production presentation done on the 13th, both of them were being careful with challenging 'Descendants of the Sun'. Despite 'Descendants of the Sun' being pre-produced, "Goodbye Mr. Black" has been filmed up to episode 4. Producer Han Heui agreed with the pre-producing system completely, saying that the system should become more active in the future.

The first episode of "Goodbye Mr. Black" will be aired on the 16th and 'Descendants of the Sun' is having a press conference with the all the main casts on the same day. It looks like that KBS is trying to protect their viewers from moving onto "Goodbye Mr. Black".
