'Feel Good Story' Wins Grand Prize at Women's Film Fest

A short film about an employee given the task of figuring out how her company can evade paying taxes has been given the grand prize at this year's Women's Film Festival in Seoul (WFFIS).
"Chaltwega Muotsidun (Feel Good Story)" by Lee Kyoungmi received the prize, which included 500,000 won, at the closing ceremony of the festival on Friday.

The If Award, handed out by the feminist magazine If, went to "Kujip Ap (Invisible Light)", a feature by Gina Kim, while the Women's News Award went to two documentaries: Park Jeongsuk's "Sogum ? Choldo Yosong Nodongja Iyagi (Salt ? Korean Railway Women Workers Story)" and Kim Jinyeul's "Ichyojin Yojonsa (Forgotten Warriors)".

"Matmyonuri (The Eldest Daughter-in-Law)" by Chong Ho-hyon received the Documentary Ockrang Award.

Running for eight days from April 9, WFFIS opened with Jane Campion's "In the Cut" and screened 73 films from 20 countries.
