'Gangnam Style' tops British single chart

Rapper-singer PSY has become the first Korean musician to reach No. 1 in Britain. Gangnam Style broke into the top 40 two weeks ago at No. 37, a month after its release, and made it to No. 3 last week.

The video with the single has had more than 253 million views in two months and became the most "liked" video on YouTube.

PSY, an established star in Korea with six albums, taught Britney Spears his dance moves on the U.S. TV show Ellen month.

Last week's No 1, Hall of Fame, by Irish band The Script, featuring rapper Will.i.am, dropped to No 2; US rapper Flo Rida is at No 3 with I Cry.
