'Metajets' to be aired in 15 Asian countries

Domestic TV animation 'Metajets' will debut on Disney Channel Asia. Disney is the largest animation channel in the world.
Sun-woo Entertainment (CEO: Kang Han-young) announced that Disney will air Metajets at 10:30 a.m. every Sunday in 15 Asian countries such as China, Singapore, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, and Laos from late June.
'Metajets' is about a high-flying competition and combats of jet pilots. Sun-woo Entertainment has worked on joint investment, production, and distribution of it with Cookie Jar Entertainment from the stage of planning with the aim of its worldwide distribution.
The writer of TV drama '24' also wrote scenarios for 'Metajets', which created buzz. 'Metajets' enjoys popularity across various age groups with its rapid progress of the story and action scenes of jets. 7 billion won has been invested to produce its 40 episodes for 2 years.
For those in Korea, it has been broadcast on KBS since early this year. In conjunction with its airing on cable TV in the second half of this year, character goods and publications are expected to be poured out. It is scheduled to be aired in foreign countries. In addition, it is confirmed that it will be shown on Canada's 'Teletoon' in the second half of this year. Talks over the establishment of contract to broadcast it in the US are being carried out.
