'Mug Travel' wins Best Film for Children in BIMINI Animation Festival

Recently released 3D animation "Mug Travel" (Director Lim Ah-ron) has won 'The Best Film for Children' in BIMINI Animation Festival.

The festival, which was held in Latvia, not only judges on the children's animations, but also for adult animations.

"Mug Travel" is about an adventurous story about a young child 'Bebe' who receives a magical pendant from Santa Claus and meets polar bear 'Bbaeggom', penguins "Ggongggong' and 'Dodo' along the journey.

The animation was first released as a TV series. It has been exported to 20 broadcasting companies worldwide, including French Ansi Animation Festival, Britain's BBC, USA's Cartoon Network, and France's M6.

The movie version has been selected as the opening movie for 1st Busan International Children's Movie Festival. It has also been nominated in Brussels International Festival of Fantastic Film and Germany's Festival of Animated Film Stuttgart. The animation was released last 22nd in 37 theatres around the country.
