The disaster flick "Tunnel" hit the 7 million mark in cinema attendance on Tuesday, according to the film's distributor Showbox.

The film has maintained the top spot at the box office since its release on Aug. 10, the longest record this year.

Now, it remains to be seen how far it can go in terms of viewership as it keeps drawing viewers amid rave reviews.

The disaster flick, starring Ha Jung-woo and Bae Doona, revolves around an ordinary man who gets trapped in a collapsed tunnel.
