'Winter Sonata's Bae Yong-joon to reunite with Choi Ji-woo in 7 years

'Yon Sama' and 'Jiwoo Hime stand before fans in 7 years. Bae Yong-joon and Choi Ji-woo meet fans at a promotional event for animation 'Winter Sonata' held at Tokyo Dome, Japan on Sept. 29.
Animation 'Winter Sonata' was planned together by Digital Adventure (DA), mother company of KEYEAST, and Winter Sonata Production Committee consisting of total promotion. And it was co-produced by Korea and Japan. The 2 stars dubbed for the animation.
It is no wonder that the event attracts buzz given that they meet together in 7 years and this is the first time for them to appear on the stage before fans since 2002 when the drama 'Winter Sonata' was broadcast .
It is expected that about 100,000 fans will gather to see Bae Yong-joon. Tokyo Dome is the largest performance stage in Japan with accommodation of over 40,000. For fans living outside of Tokyo, this event is scheduled to be broadcast live to theaters nationwide though satellite. A total of 100,000 fans including moviegoers will see Bae Yong-joon.
On Sept. 30, one day after the event, he will host an event at Tokyo Dome in commemoration of the publication of 'The Beauty of Korea (tentative name)' which he wrote. He himself will introduce the book that he worked on for 1 year. He also prepared various programs for Japanese fans' better understanding of Korea.
