The Seoul District Court revealed they dismissed the request of violation of copyright by Kim, who had transferred the rights to the movie, against the productions Directors.

The court said, "It looks like the movie started shooting last October and a sum of 10 billion won has already been invested. If the movie was to be suspended the production itself will fail and there is a big risk of not being able to recover the loss".

It continued, "Kim has a way of receiving compensation for his rights to the movie even after it is completed. It seems as though as of right now, there is no immediate need to suspend the production".

Kim transferred the production and sales rights of the movie he wrote to Directors in 2008 January. He made a contract for 25 million and 25 million more if the movie invited a bigger sum than 100 million won in investments and 10% of profits made by the movie. He also signed a contract for 50 million won as overall producer.

However as he didn't get anymore more money than the 50 million won he received on two accounts and the movie production took place, he submitted an injunction against the movie.

The court responded to Kim's claim that his theme in the movie has disappeared and that it wouldn't succeed commercially, "There is no confirmation that the movie will not succeed according to the director and writers skills, and actors popularities".

"My Way" is about a man who became a Nazi when he was conscripted by the Japanese during World War 2. Top stars like Jang Dong-gun, Japanese Joe Odagiri and Chinese Fan Bingbing were cast. So far a total sum of 30 billion dollars have been put into this movie and is looking forward to being released in Korea, China and Japan.
