2012 Expo Yeosu Korea D-100 Countdown

Only 100 more days to go until the 2012 Expo Yeosu Korea officially kicks off.
About 20 buildings are now in their final stages of construction in this vast exposition area of one.seven million square meters, and they are to be completed by the end of this month.
But most facilities already boast theur creative and state-of-the-art features.

To celebrate this one-hundred day mark, the Expo Organizing Committee held a ceremony on Wednesday afternooon in the southern port city of Yeosu.
About 8-hundred people attended the ceremony, including President Lee Myung-bak.
Among the attendees were nearly one-hundred supporters who met at social networking service websites, to root for a successful hosting of this international event.

This is the second international exposition ever held in Korea, since the Daejeon Expo back in 1993.

Over one hundred countries will participate in this international event".

This event is expected to not only boost the Korean economy by around 12 trillion won, or roughly 10 billion US dollars, but also contribute to protect the world's marine resources with new ideas and agendas.
