2013 CES: Samsung unveils Enormous 85-inch 4K UHD TV and More

Samsung unveiled a shipload of innovative products from laptops, cameras to fridges at the 2013 CES. But it's the company's TVs that are stealing all the attention.

Samsung announced its 85-inch S9 UHD TV. It wasn't enough for Samsung to make the world's largest ultra-high def 4K TV, they also had to include a bunch of other high-end features.

Samsung clearly focused on high quality for its latest TV. The powerful 2.2 channel audio is built into the frame and offers 120 watts of sound. It has Precision Black Pro technology that makes blacks look even darker and white and colors more vibrant. Aside from its stunning size, the S9 UHD TV itself is a work of art because it was designed to look like it was floating in its frame.

While exact pricing and availability is yet to be confirmed, the S9 UHD TV is also expected to come in 110 inches sometime later in 2013.

Samsung is obviously feeling the pressure to release a 55-inch OLED TV after LG beat them to it, launching theirs in Korea a week before CES. Samsung launched several gorgeous new LED and OLED TVs at the show. One that got our attention was the F9500 55-inch OLED 3D TV with multi-view. Remember picture-in-picture from the 1990s? Yeah, this is nothing like that. Two people sitting next to each other can watch different channels of full-screen Full HD content while wearing stylish 3D glasses with built-in speakers. This could potentially end a lot of remote control battles.
