2015 Mama Unveils BTS, CNBLUE, GOT7, Zion.T as First Line Up, Ticket Sales Open Oct. 30 for UnionPay Members

Asia's leading content and media company CJ E&M has announced its first line up of the upcoming MAMA (Mnet Asian Music Awards), which includes K-pop artists BTS, CNBLUE, GOT7 and Zion. T (artist names in alphabetical order). 2015 MAMA is set to take place at AsiaWorld-Expo, Hong Kong on December 2nd.

K-pop boy band BTS (also known as Bangtan Boys) consists 7 members and focuses mainly on the hip hop genre while appealing their youthful exuberance to their fans. Their 3rd mini album, The Most Beautiful Moment in Life, Part 1, topped main music charts in Korea in May. This will be their second time attending MAMA.

CNBLUE is one of the best Korean pop bands who just released their new album "2gether", which evidently proves how the band can write their own music. For this particular album, members Jung Yong-hwa and Lee Jong-hyun together wrote most of the tracks. Moreover, CNBLUE has held many concerts this year at several cities in Asia, including Shanghai and Hong Kong. In fact, they excited fans in Korea just over the weekend, with a live concert that packed a stadium in southern Seoul. With much experience, CNBLUE is expected to rock at MAMA once again.

Also expected at 2015 MAMA are another K-Pop boy band GOT7 and one of the hottest R&B/hip hop singer-songwriters, Zion T. GOT7 is a multi-national K-pop boy group with members hailing from Korea, Hong Kong, Thailand, and the United States. With their diverse background and talents, GOT7's latest hit If You Do was ranked number 1 on iTunes charts in 6 countries only one day after its release in September. Zion. T started his career with collaborations and went on to release acclaimed solo records. He also featured on albums of several K-pop artists, including Infinite H, G-Dragon and Kim Jonghyun from SHINee, to name a few. Featuring his unique sensibilities, Zion. T's latest song Eat was an instant hit, rising to the top position on main charts in Korea.

Just this summer at KCON L.A., GOT7 and Zion.T impressed the fans with their energetic and soulful performances they respectively staged.

Tickets for 2015 MAMA will open early for UnionPay members on October 30th at www.hkticketing.com, while general ticket sales will start from November 2nd. As pre-sale tickets are limited, earlier sold-out is expected.
