2PM Break into World Music Chart in U.S.

Korean boy band 2PM entered the U.S. Billboard Top World Albums Chart at 13th place on Monday with their new album "Still 02:00PM".

Despite not having been officially released or promoted in the U.S., the album's digital sales and downloads led to the band's debut on the chart. "We are surprised and pleased at the unexpected results", an official at JYP Entertainment, 2PM's management agency, said.

The Top World Albums Chart ranks "the week's top-selling world music albums based on sales data as compiled by Nielsen SoundScan". Musicians such as Irish country singer Daniel O'Donnell and fellow Irish band Celtic Thunder made into the top 10.

2PM have also been hugely popular across Asia. Their album topped Japan's Oricon Chart and Tower Record's album chart and DVD pre-sale orders, and climbed high in Taiwan's largest music charts Five Music and G-Music. "I Will Be Back", the band's music video, has racked up over 2 million views on YouTube.
